2025-10-06

On October 6, 2025, the Canada–China Business Council (CCBC) successfully held the Canada–China Business Leaders Summit – Connecting Markets at the Dentons headquarters in Montreal. This high-level event brought together business leaders from both Canada and China, including more than forty executives and entrepreneurs from the McGill China MBA for Executives program, to discuss cross-border development, investment strategies, and the future of economic relations between the two countries.

Invited as a panelist in the session entitled “Beyond Borders: Why Canada Plays an Essential Role in Your Global Growth Strategy,” Ms. Alice Minying Wu, President of Groupe Boda, shared her entrepreneurial journey and extensive experience in business management. She offered her insights on business development in Quebec and across Canada, highlighting the country’s stable business environment, rich cultural diversity, and privileged access to the North American market — all of which make Canada a key partner for Chinese enterprises seeking global expansion.

Ms. Wu reaffirmed Groupe Boda’s commitment to continuing its role as a bridge between Canada and China, fostering practical collaboration and mutual growth between businesses in both nations.

The summit gathered nearly a hundred business leaders and concluded with a friendly networking cocktail, further strengthening dialogue and cooperation between the Canadian and Chinese business communities.
