On the evening of May 27, 2025, the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) successfully hosted its signature event, “Exchange and Connect: The Key to Success (Échanger et connecter : la clé du succès)”, in Montreal. The event brought together over a hundred guests to witness a heartfelt gathering focused on immigrant journeys, diversity, inclusion, and personal growth.

Ms. Alice Minying Wu, Founder and President of Groupe Boda, was invited as a guest speaker. She took part in a fireside conversation alongside Ms.Henriette Mvondo, Founder of BAI – Bienvenue à l’immigrant and Financial Planner at RBC. Both women are immigrant entrepreneurs and respected community leaders in Canada. They shared their inspiring stories of perseverance—navigating life in a new country, balancing family and career, and staying committed to their dreams.

In her remarks, Ms. Wu encouraged the audience to remain confident, integrate actively into society, and boldly forge their own paths. She noted: “The immigrant journey is never easy, but as long as we hold on to our dreams, keep working hard, and dare to pursue opportunities, each of us can become a light of our own.”

The discussion was moderated by Mr. Mario Di Bernardo, who also reaffirmed his support for diversity and inclusion.

Groupe Boda remains deeply committed to supporting multiculturalism and promoting community integration. The company will continue to work hand in hand with partners from all sectors to help build a more inclusive, vibrant, and forward-looking society.
