Grand Parc Urbain de Brossard

Large municipal and private real estate infrastructure projects have started or will begin soon in sector C in Brossard, in addition to a Réseau express métropolitain (REM) station.
On the former Golf of Brossard, the City of Brossard began in 2018, the creation of a huge urban park in sector C. This large municipal park of more than 4 million square feet will have a distinctive personality characterized by its size, its natural and wooded space, as well as the activities offered to all citizens, all year round.
Over the next few years, other improvements are planned, such as the construction of an ice rink, the installation of water games and the making of tennis courts.
The current name, Grand parc urbain, is a generic name that serves to identify it only in the context of its construction. The city of Brossard made a name call in October 2019 and the ideas submitted will be analyzed by the City and the Commission de la toponymie du Québec, before a name will be adopted by the city council.
Construction work on phases 1A and 1B of the project is now complete. Phase 2 of the project is now in conception.

The large Brossard-sur-le-parc (Broad Group) real estate project is located in the middle of the large Urban Park. Brossard-sur-le-parc is a project of approximately 546 housing units, which includes; isolated single-family dwellings (55 lots), contiguous (198 units) and multi-family dwellings (293 units).
